THE AYAHUASCA DIET

The Ayahuasca diet, or dieta, is a crucial element to the transformative experiences that Ayahuasca helps create. This part of preparation for your Journey asks that you cut out or limit certain foods and behaviors – to support and align mind, body, and spirit for the unique Amazonian Ayahuasca brew.

1heart provides guests an extensive guide and special recipes as part of your Ayahuasca retreat costs to make this part of your prep as smooth and simple as possible.

Medical Requirements

At 1heart, and with any Ayahuasca retreat or experience, it’s vital to cut back or entirely cut out certain pharmaceuticals from a person’s life. Certain supplements and over-the-counter medications are contraindicative to the molecular structure of Ayahuasca. Should these mix, it can result in dangerous, life-threatening, or even fatal consequences.

We work with all our guests and our Medicine Team to educate all parties about the medications or supplements they must avoid to ensure a safe, transformational Ayahuasca healing journey.
